Terms of Use and Sale
Plain terms for reading Michigan Journeyman Prep. Nothing is sold here yet, and this says what happens when something is. Effective 4 September 2026.
Who runs this site
Michigan Journeyman Prep at mijourneymanprep.com is published by Trojan Digital Marketing, an Indiana company. Write to support@trojandigitalmarketing.com. The site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA), the Michigan Bureau of Construction Codes, PSI Services, or any licensing authority, school or union.
What this site is, and is not
Everything here is study material and general information. It is not electrical advice, engineering, legal advice, or a substitute for the National Electrical Code, the Michigan statutes and rules, your inspector, or the authority having jurisdiction. A calculator on this site shows a method with the numbers you gave it; it is not a design, a sizing decision or an approval, and you check every result against your own code book before you rely on it.
We work hard to be accurate and we log corrections in public on the corrections page, but the code, the rules, the fees and the exam change, and a page can be behind or wrong. We make no promise that any page is complete, current or error free, and no promise that using this site will lead to a passing score, a license, a permit or an inspection.
Practice questions and the exam
Every practice question, game prompt and explanation on this site was written for this site. None is reproduced from any examination, and none is presented as an actual exam question. The exam is written by others and its content is confidential to them.
The code book and copyright
NEC and National Electrical Code are registered trademarks of NFPA, which owns the copyright in the code. This site does not publish the code's text, and it does not lay out its tables for you to read as a reference. Where a calculator or a question needs a value that also appears in a code table, the page holds the figures that calculation needs and names the table so you can check the row in your own copy. That is not a substitute for owning the book. You need your own copy of the code edition the bulletin names, which the Michigan exam requires you to bring anyway.
The pages, questions, explanations, tools and code on this site are ours. You may read them, use the tools, print a page for your own study and share a link. You may not copy the question sets, scrape the site, resell or republish any part of it, or use it to train a model, without written permission.
Nothing is sold here yet
There is no paid product on this site today. The licensing pages and the hours calculator are free, they need no account, and there is no checkout, no price and no payment processor in the way.
Refunds. There is nothing to refund, because there is nothing to buy. If that changes, the purchase will carry its own terms of sale, published here with a new effective date, and the version posted when you buy will govern that purchase.
Taxes. The same applies. Any price shown in future will be in US dollars, with any sales tax that applies to a digital product in your state shown at checkout.
Your use of the site
Do not attack, overload, scrape or reverse engineer the site, and do not use it for anything unlawful. We can refuse service or remove content at our discretion.
Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Trojan Digital Marketing and the people who write for it are not liable for any loss, injury, damage, failed examination, denied license, failed inspection, lost work or cost of any kind arising from your use of this site or reliance on anything on it, whether in contract, tort or otherwise. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, which today is nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and the law that applies
We may change these terms by posting a new version with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, and any dispute is brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Marion County, Indiana, unless the law of your state requires otherwise.
